Can accessibility drive better experiences—and stronger destinations?

Adapt2Explore Trysil brings together professionals from tourism, destination development, outdoor experiences, academia, and the public sector for two days of hands-on testing, knowledge sharing, and networking.

This is not a traditional conference. It is a practical learning arena where accessibility is explored in real-life settings—together with users, industry, and experts.

Experience accessibility in action

The event takes place alongside Camp MTB Adapt, where participants with disabilities engage in adaptive mountain biking over several days.

This gives you a unique opportunity to:

  • Meet adaptive riders and mentors

  • Understand real barriers—and how to remove them

  • Experience how accessibility works in practice

Sunday takes place in the bike park, with live demonstrations and insights into adaptive bikes, trail design, and infrastructure.

Monday moves into a seminar and networking arena, focusing on inclusive tourism, universal design, and the full visitor journey—from planning and transport to accommodation and experiences.
